Women health issue refers to a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, as experienced by women, and not only the absence of disease or weakness. United States women are facing chronic health issues.

10. Heart Disease
Heart attacks and heart disease are more often viewed as a man’s problem then a woman’s. But, since 1984, more women died of heart disease each year in the United States than men. 9,000 women under the age of 45 have a heart attack every year in the United States. The early symptoms of heart attack are unfortunately unnoticeable in females. About 610,000 people die of heart disease in the United States every year–that’s 1 in every 4 deaths. In unites states, every year, 22.4% deaths of females are caused by heart attack. The main cause of heart attack is tension, obesity, unhealthy food, smoking, and unhealthy environment.

One of the leading cause of United States morbidity, disability, mortality, healthcare costs and healthcare treatment is obesity. Obesity is one of the most un escapable, long-lasting diseases in need of new approaches for medical treatment and prevention.
Obesity is defined as the condition of excess adipose tissue. Women of ages 20 and over have higher rates of obesity than men. In United States 36.1 adult females are obese and 33.5% of men are obese. This is because of the fact that people of United States are living on fast food and consume higher amount of cholesterol.
Another chronic women health issue facing by United States women is diabetes. It makes the body more inclined to bacterial infection, so anyone with diabetes have a decreased ability to fight germs. Diabetes, is a group of metabolic diseases in which there are high sugar levels over a lengthy period. Diabetes can be especially hard on women. If the female is pregnant and is also suffering from diabetes then it can affect both mother and her unborn child. It can also cause miscarriage or a baby born with birth defects. Women suffering from diabetes are also more likely to have a heart attack at a younger age.
Cancer, also known as a malignant tumor or malignant neoplasm, is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body. Smoking is the cause of about 22% of cancer deaths. Another 10% is due to obesity, unhealthy food, lack of physical activity, and consumption of alcohol. Other reasons include certain infections, exposure to ionizing radiation, and environmental pollutants. Unites States has the seventh highest cancer rate in the world, about 300 of every 100,000 Americans develop cancer each year.
Breast cancer is the most common women health issue distortion in United States, accounting for >40,000 deaths each year. Each year the number of death cases are increasing.
6. Infertility most common Women Health issue
About 2.4 million married couples, with the wives 15-44 years of age, were facing the most affected women health issue is infertile in 1982. Looked at another way, nearly 2.4 million women had problems with infertility in 1982, compared with 1.53 million in 2010. And this number is increasing day by day in United States. There are many couples with no children, this ultimately leads to depression and tension. It is affecting couples social life and married life. The causes of infertility can either be male or female or sometimes both. Proper treatment is needed to overcome this issue.
5. Depression and Anxiety
Mood disorder by one or more depressive episodes is a major depression. Depression have more four symptoms such as changes in appetite, sleep, or weight, and psychomotor activity; decreased energy; feeling worthless and guilty; difficulty in thinking and making decisions; difficulty in concentration; thoughts of suicidal ideation, plans, or attempts. Dysthymic disorder is categorized by at least two years of depressed mood for more days than not, escorted by added depressive symptoms that do not meet measures for a major depressive episode.
Depression in women is misdiagnosed almost 30 percent to 50 percent of the time. Approximately 70 percent of the medicines for antidepressants are given to women, often with improper diagnosis and nursing. Prescription drug misapplication is a very real risk for women. Anxiety and depression are serious and complicated women’s health issue that need serious attention.
4. Chronic lower Respiratory diseases
Chronic bronchitis is a respiratory diseases, very common in people who smoke. Chronic bronchitis, a long-term swelling of the bronchi (large airways), is categorized by coughing mucus over a long period.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Chronic Bronchitis kill more than 480,000 people in the U.S. each year.it is caused by access use of cigarettes. In fact, smoking is directly responsible for almost 90% of lung cancer and COPD deaths. Females in United States are caught by this chronic disease and each year 6.1% deaths of women are caused by respiratory diseases.
A stroke is a “brain attack”. It can happen to anyone, anywhere at any time. It occurs when blood flow to an area of brain is cut off. When this happens, brain cells are rundown of oxygen and begin to die. When brain cells die in a stroke, abilities controlled by that area of the brain such as memory and muscle control are lost.
In United States every 4 minutes someone dies from stroke. And it is the fifth leading cause of death in the U.S. In women of 20 to 60 years old, there is a risk of 4.6- fold greater. Apart from this the death rates of women due to stroke is 2.5 times greater than man.
Women are also more likely to experience longer symptomatic episodes, more frequent recurrences, and significantly higher ventricular rates during stroke. Around 8% deaths of women in United States are caused due to stroke.
2. Alzheimer’s diseases
Presently, the annual number of new incident cases in 360,000. As the US population ages, Alzheimer’s disease will become a huge public health problem.
Alzheimer’s disease, named after the doctor who first described it (Alois Alzheimer), is a physical disease that affects the brain. There are more than 520,000 people in the UK with Alzheimer’s disease. During the course of the disease, proteins build up in the brain to form structures called ‘plaques’ and ‘tangles’. This leads to the loss of contacts between nerve cells, and eventually to the death of nerve cells and loss of brain tissue.
In United States many females are suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and having a depressed life. The number of cases can be reduced by taking precautions. This women health issue needs proper attention.
1. HIV Aids
AIDS (Acquired immune deficiency syndrome or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) is a syndrome initiated by a virus called HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus). The illness changes the immune system, making people much more susceptible to infections and diseases. This susceptibility worsens as the syndrome progresses. IN United States many women are suffering from this disease and they are the cause of further transmission of AIDS. This is caused by having sex with more than one person or having sex with someone suffering from AIDS. Many deaths are caused by AIDS each year and this can only be reduced by precautions.
